Hawaii is fine but it is not ISLA MUJERES

Been working and playing in Hawaii.
Arrived here on Bruce Birthday after being stuck in the San Francisco airport fo 6 plus hours waiting on our Plane to arrive.
Worked on Maui for a week.  We had a couple days of rain but that was just fine I was working.  Christy and I ventured out to a food truck for some yummy spicy and garlic shrimp.

Last Friday Bruce and I headed over to Honolulu for a one day of work for me and then a few days R&R.

We were in Honolulu about 20 years ago.  Wow I swear  Honolulu traffic is worse than LA traffic everything is bumper to bumper here. Seriously takes 30 minutes to drive 5 miles.  Saturday we headed to the Aloha Bowl and hit up the swap meet.  We rented a car and have been exploring all over the Island but honestly I will take Mexico any day over this.  We were lucky enough to meet up with a girlfriend who lives here and her father in-law took us on a private tour of Kualoa ranch then off to Lanikai beach for a wonderful beach afternoon.  It was really crowded since it was MLK day and lots of people mush have had the day off.

here is a video for you of the west shore

The north shore is suppose to have 50 ft waves - crazy big  they say this only happens once every 10 to 15 years.  Of course the traffic was crazy but the waves were amazing.

YAY my time is now my own YIPEE

As of the 1st I am mostly retired.  It has been a whirlwind of cleaning LOL.. I just never had the time and I sure did not want to clean on my vacation.  I will work room by room and the Kitchen is done it only took 7 hours, but it is scrubbed top to bottom.

We headed over to Sunriver Friday and you guessed it more cleaning.  We have listed the house and planted a St Joesph under the for sale sign so were ready for it to sale.  Still a few things to do here.  Hard to decide what to take and what to leave.   On  Wednesday we will to head over to Portland to do my Immigration paperwork.  Checking off my list of to-do's makes me happy.

On the 11th Bruce birthday we head to Maui for a weeks work then off to Honolulu for a week of R&R.

So far loving being on my own schedule.
